This project I was set to redesign an iPhone Four for an elderly woman. In this process I had conversation about her phone and technology usage. We then designed a main phone and a partner phone to go along with it.
The first concept phone, is more focused on durability. Being able to set phone up hands free, using the stand and it being less likely to break with the rubber on each corner. Also with the cloth piece attached to stand, it can act like a hold for the finger, similar to a pop socket.
The second concept focuses on similar idea, however, looking more into the shape of the phone. Wanted to bring back the keyboard idea, so user had the immediate feedback of clicking a button. The shape of phone allows user to hold phone more comfortably and allows her to reach all parts of the screen due to its angular design.
